The mission of Lead Forward, Designing My Future provides hands on learning and leadership opportunities through community engagement and organizational operations. Participants will identify the strengths and possible opportunities within their neighborhoods leading/developing/designing activities, initiatives, and and programming.

Summary
The Office Assistant will perform a variety of clerical tasks depending on project deadlines in the Family and Friends Initiative (F.F.I.) office. This will include answering phones and other administrative tasks as assigned by the Executive Leadership.
This position helps to extend the resources in the F.F.I. to better assist and direct the needs of our communities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Answering phones • Data entry • Filing • Maintaining office space
Other duties specifically around coordination of special events, or as assigned.
Must present a professional appearance and be friendly
Must be dependable and punctual
Be courteous and personable when dealing with the public
Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, and detail-oriented
Respect and maintain confidentiality of F.F.I. volunteers, partners, and donors
Computer skills are desired, but not necessary
Training, office orientation, which includes training on the following items: o Phone Etiquette oDatabase o Filing and other clerical duties, will be provided within the first 30 days of start date.
Dedicated Time:
4 hours per week (hourJr. s will be tracked for organizational purposes)
Summary
The Administrative Coordinator Student Position will serve as a point of contact and link between Jr Interns, Executive Leadership, external parties, including vendors, lenders, and community. This position will coordinate and organize administrative support work to ensure projects are completed on time. Responsibilities include ensuring project deadlines are met and administrative support tasks are on track for target completion date. Administrative Coordinator will assist Executive Leadership in the organization of information and data associated with various projects and tasks- to be assigned my leadership.
This position helps to extend the resources in the F.F.I. to better assist and direct the needs of our communities. Hours will be tracked and a volunteer report will be provided monthly to ensure student volunteer hour requirements are being met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with planning and execution of projects, as assigned.
Manage Jr Intern projects and tasks.
Create documents (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) for various projects for data retention and collection of applicable information
Be courteous and personable when dealing with the public
Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, and detail-oriented
Respect and maintain confidentiality of F.F.I. volunteers, partners, and donors
Computer skills are required
Training, office orientation, which includes training on the following items: o Phone Etiquette oDatabase o Filing and other clerical duties, will be provided within the first 30 days of start date.

To be discussed between student volunteer and leadership.

The Media Manager will perform a variety of technical tasks depending on project deadlines in the Family and Friends Initiative (F.F.I.) organization. This will include managing all website and social media platforms. In addition to other technical tasks as assigned by the Executive Leadership.
This position supports F.F.I. to maintain a healthy digital imprint that contributes to the organization's ability to better assist and direct the needs of the communities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage the F.F.I. website(s)- Develop, maintain and update website content and social media platforms.
Oversee the functionality of the website, evaluate and manage website performance.
Must present a professional appearance and a friendly manner.
Must be deadline oriented.
Be courteous and personable when dealing with the public.
Be self-directed, willing to take initiative, and detail-oriented.
Respect and maintain confidentiality of F.F.I. volunteers, partners, and donors.
Training and orientation, which includes training on the following items: o Phone Etiquette oEmail management o Calendar usage o Web Design and Content Control, will be provided within the first 30 days of start date.
Dedicated Time:
Maximum 4 hours per week, unless agreed upon with Executive Leadership.
